High pressure remains in control of the weather through Saturday.
Largely dry with variable cloud cover.
A relatively chilly start for some under the clear skies. Thicker cloud bringing light rain/drizzle at times across particularly southeastern regions of England. Cloud looking to become more widespread across Scotland later where temperatures may struggle in places, but where there are lengthy spells of sunshine expect it to feel warm.
Rather a lot of cloud about to start the night with the risk of some drizzle affecting the far nroth of Scotland and Orkney. Clear skies break through later on for many. Becoming chilly for some under the lasting clear skies.
Highs at 17C in the east, 23C in the west, possibly higher in the lasting sunshine. Minimums dropping to as low as 8C for some under clearer skie, closer to 11 to 12C elsewhere.
