Another mixed day for the UK and Ireland with outbreaks of rain for some; sunny spells and showers for other. Best chance of a dry day in the Midlands.
Good morning,
An overcast and wet start to the day for many as we head into the new week. Rain and showers affecting most areas through the morning, the driest area will likely be the Midlands.
Rain continues through the afternoon for southern and western parts of England and Wales, eastern Ireland and southern Scotland. Tending to become drier as the afternoon progresses. High temperatures reaching just 8 or 9C for Scotland , 12 or 13C to the far southeast.
Into the evening rain will persist for southern Scotland but will tend to ease for southern parts of the UK and eastern Ireland. Clearest skies into the evening will be to the far west and north.
Have a good day!
Claire
