Staying unsettled with rain and showers at times, cold for all

The unsettled weather continues for the coming week bringing rain and showers. Temperatures will be falling with strong easterly winds bringing a wind-chill to many areas. Rain and showers could be heavy at times and there is a threat of some snow over the hills of Scotland.

Thursday 7/11/19
The area of low pressure crossing England and Wales on Thursday. Windy for many areas, but especialy southern Scotland, northern and western England, Wales and Ireland. There will be showers or longer spells of rain surrounding the area of low pressure, some of these heavy at times. Northern England and Wales are likely to be wettest. Brighter spells in central and northern Scotland but some showers too, these wintry over hills. Highs at 6 to 9C.

Friday 8/11/19
Pressure stays low over the UK and Ireland on Friday, the centre of the low being over eastern areas. Cloud, showers and outbreaks of rain in central and eastern areas. Perhaps brighter in the west although some mist and fog in western Scotland and Ireland, this slowly clearing to brighter spells. Highs at 6 to 10C.
 

Saturday 9/11/19
Another area of low pressure moving into Ireland and pushing fronts into western areas. This brings stronger winds and rain here during the day, some of the rain heavy. Eastern and central aeras starting misty and murky, but turning brghter and staying dry until the evening. Highs at 6 to 10C.
 

Sunday 10/11/19
Low pressure remains in control throughout Sunday. This brings further periods of rain and showers, most in Ireland, northern England and Scotland. Perhaps drier and brighter in central and southern areas, although some heavy showers here. Highs at 4 to 9C.

Monday 11/11/19
Pressure is low to the south of the country on Monday. A cold day with rain and showers, mostly in the north and east. Brighter to the west and south, although a few showers here and there. Winds 5 to 9C.

Tuesday 12/11/19
Staying cold on Tuesday. An easterly wind, posibly strong in Scotland where there will be heavy periods of rain, mostly in the east. Some snow over the Highlands and Grampians. Drier and brighter to the south. Highs at 4 to 11C.
