Mostly cloudy
Outbreaks of rain & showers

Issued: 0530hrs Saturday 16th November 2019
Duty forecaster: Claire Darbinyan

A rather cloudy day for many across the UK and Ireland with the best of any brightness to the southeast. Outbreaks of rain affect some eastern and western areas but staying mostly dry elsewhere.

Good morning,

A cloudy start for most today with a few mist and fog patches. Showers and outbreaks of rain affecting southeastern Scotland, northeastern England and across the north Midlands into Wales. Mostly dry elsewhere but the odd shower can't be ruled out for far western parts of the UK and Ireland and the Northern Isles.

Into the afternoon persistent rain continues for northeast England and southeast Scotland while further outbreaks of rain affect western Ireland and western Scotland. Mostly cloudy elsewhere with isolated showers. The best of any afternoon brightness and dry weather will be over southeastern England. A few mist and fog patches may persist through the afternoon. High temperatures ranging from just 4 to 9C today.

Outbreaks of rain persist for far eastern and far western parts of the UK and across Ireland into Saturday evening. A mostly cloudy evening with the best of any clear skies to the southeast.

Have a good day!

Claire
