Sunday
A slacker pressure flow on Sunday means there will be a fair amount of cloud and some outbreaks of rain and drizzle too, most of these across northern England and southern Scotland. Showers affecting Wales and western England. Rather misty and murky, although there could be an odd brighter spell in the south of England. A brighter, drier day for Ireland, Scotland and Northern Ireland with just isolated showers over the northern half of Scotland. Highs at 4 to 9C.

Sunday Night
A few showers overnight for northern Scotland, Wales and central and southern parts of England but, on the whole, it's a mostly dry night across the UK and Ireland. Clear skies for most, away from the southeast, will allow temperatures to drop and patches of mist, fog and frost to form. Overnight lows at 1 to 6C for most, cooler in more rural areas.
 

Monday
Low pressure to the east and west puts the UK and Ireland in a narrow ridge of higher pressure on Monday. A mostly dry and bright day for the British Isles though rain and cloud could persist to the southeast. A few showers too for North Sea coasts where it will be breezy too. Cloud builds from the west later. Chilly with high temperatures at 3 to 8C.
 

Tuesday
Low pressure to the west of Ireland sends fronts across Ireland and into southwestern parts of the UK bringing cloud and outbreaks of rain. The most persistent rain for Ireland. A separate low pressure area brings rain to southeast England. Staying dry but increasingly cloudy across much of England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland. Plenty of mist around too. Highs at 3 to 8C.
