Issued: 0530hrs Friday 8th November 2019 Duty forecaster: Claire Darbinyan
Low pressure clears south allowing a ridge to develop to the west bringing drier and brighter conditions.
Good morning,
Low pressure moves to the south though cloud and outbreaks of rain linger for central and eastern parts of England and northern Wales through the morning. Drier and brighter for much of Ireland, Scotland and Northern Ireland though occasional coastal showers may develop here too.
Rain becomes increasingly light and showery over southeastern England as the area of low pressure continues to move away from the British Isles while showers mostly dry up elsewhere too giving a fine afternoon for many. Feeling chilly though with highs at 4 to 7C for most. Maybe 8 or 9C to the far southeast.
Cloud starts to build from the west over Ireland through afternoon and into the evening as another area of low pressure approaches. Rain moves into the far west of Ireland into Friday night but staying dry elsewhere.
Have a good day!
Claire
