Saturday
A deep area of low pressure tracks to the northwest of the British Isles on Saturday. This brings a spell of very wet and windy weather, especially so for western areas. Outbreaks of rain spread across Ireland and much of the UK through the morning. Perhaps staying drier over far eastern parts of England until the afternoon. Brighter conditions follow through the afternoon for much of Ireland as well as western parts of England. Showers, these locally heavy and thundery, follow the rain for much of Scotland, Northern Ireland and northern and western parts of Ireland. A very windy too across the country with winds at gale or severe gale force to the west. High temperatures at 11 to 16C.


Saturday night
Through Saturday evening and into Sunday morning another very deep area of low pressure arrives to the northwest of the British Isles. An area of rain spreads across Ireland through the evening then across much of the UK by Sunday morning with the exception of the far northeast of Scotland. Winds slacken briefly ahead of the rain but strengthen again as the front arrives with gale to severe gale force winds for many western areas. Drier for much of Ireland and Northern Ireland by morning but blustery showers may affect far western areas. Overnight lows at 4 to 9C for most.


Sunday
Staying very unsettled with all areas seeing some rain at times throughout the day. One band of rain clears to the northeast of Scotland through the morning and a brief spell of drier conditions develops for many though blustery showers will still affect western coasts and hills in particular. These heaviest and most persistent over western Scotland. Another area of rain and very strong winds arrives from the southwest through the afternoon spreading across Ireland, Northern Ireland, Wales, southwest England, northern England and southern Scotland through the afternoon. Mild in the south and southeast with highs here at 14 to 17C, cooler further north and west with highs here at just 8 or 9C for many.


Monday
Another windy day on Monday. Wet with rain across much of England and Wales initially before the rain clears Wales and central England through the morning. Rain will clear the south and southeast of England later on. Sunny spells and showers behind. Meanwhile, Scotland, Northern Ireland and Ireland will see strong winds, gales in places, as well as blustery showers, these merging into longer spells of rain at times. Drier further east across these areas. Mild for much of the day across southern and southeastern areas but cooler air moves across the country and by the end of the day and max temperatures will be around 7 to 15C.
