Monday
A cloudy and wet day for Scotland, northern England, Ireland and Northern Ireland with rain sweeping through here, heavy at times. Rain affecting parts of Wales as the day progresses. A largely dry day further south and east but with plenty of cloud about. The southwest of England will see rain move in during the evening. Somewhat milder than of late with highs in the north at 12C and 15C in the far southwest.


Monday Night
Staying wet and cloudy across the north and west with rain here, heavy in places still. Rain, although generally light and patchy, will gradually spread from west to east across southern England. Parts of the far east could stay dry throughout once again. A relatively mild night with lows of 7C to 13C.
 


Tuesday
Low pressure dominating the weather scene again on Tuesday as fronts bring spells of rain, prolonged for some, to parts of Scotland, Northern Ireland, Ireland as well as northern England and Wales. Drier conditions further south and east although expect patchy, light rain to affect the southwest of England. Breezy again but relatively mild, particularly in the south where highs will reach 16C here in places. Highs of 12C in the north.


Wednesday
Still influenced by low pressure midweek. Outbreaks of rain spread across much of southern and central England as well as Wales while a band of rain pushes from north to south across Ireland. Rain too affecting Northern Ireland and much of Scotland throughout the day. Driest of conditions across northern England and once the rain clears across northern parts of Ireland. Highs at 10C in the north to a still mild 16C in the southeast.
