Sunday
Pressure lowers from the west on Sunday with higher pressure squeezed to the southeast. A largely dry but chilly start with isolated patches of mist and fog possible in more favoured spots. A mostly cloudy day across the country with outbreaks of rain developing over parts of Ireland, Northern Ireland and Scotland as well as the northwest of England later. Breezy here too. Showers continue to affect eastern parts of England while the best of any sun will be to the south. High temperatures at 8 to 13C for most.


Sunday Night
Further rain spreads into Ireland, Northern Ireland, Scotland and the north of England through Sunday night into Monday morning and this will be locally very heavy at times. A mostly dry but rather cloudy night across much of Wales and the rest of England with any clearer skies being limited to the far east of England. Overnight lows at 5 to 11C, mildest over western Ireland.


Monday
Staying unsettled across northern and western areas on Monday as low pressure moves in across Scotland. Outbreaks of rain spread across Ireland, Northern Ireland and Scotland and later these move into Wales as well as western and northern parts of England. Again, these will be locally heavy. Staying dry for much of the day over central and eastern parts of England though it will be rather cloudy here. A breezy day with high temperatures at 10 to 14C.


Tuesday
Monday's rain clears to the east from southern areas on Tuesday however it will continue wet for much of Scotland, Northern Ireland and northwest Ireland. A drier and brighter day for much of England and Wales once early rain clears though showers will affect western coasts and hills here and cloud builds over southern areas later. A breezy day for most with highs at a relatively mild 16C in the south, cooler to the north at just 10C.
