Tuesday
Low pressure stays in control of the weather through today. This is going to be bringing breezy conditions and showery outbreaks of rain. These focussed through Ireland and western Wales as well as northwest England. By this afternoon those showery outbreaks of rain will be through central southern England, the Midlands and northern England. A further area of showers over northwest Ireland and the north of Scotland. Breezy in the south and through Ireland. Highs at 12 to 15C.

Tuesday Night
Further showers across northern and western Wales as well as northwest England and the north and west of Scotland. Drier in the east and south with some clearer skies here as well. Breezy again in Scotland and Northern Ireland as well as northern England. Lows near 5 to 8C.
 

Wednesday
A brighter morning across many areas on Wednesday. The best sunshine is expected across southern and eastern parts of the country. Scattered showers in northern and western Scotland. Northwest Wales and southwest England will also have scattered showers. By Wednesday afternoon thicker cloud will be affecting Ireland with outbreaks of rain in the south. he best of any sunshine will again be to the east, western areas tending to be cloudy with a few showers. Rain may affect northern Scotland. Highs at 11 to 14C.

Thursday
A small area of low pressure is expected to be passing through southern England on Thursday. This brings with it cloud and periods of rain. There is uncertainty over where the most persistent of the rain will be but at the present time it seems that southern Wales, southern England, the Midlands and East Anglia are most likely to see the heaviest rain. Drier further north with sunny spells, although there will be showers in northern and western Scotland as well as northwest England. Highs at 9 to 12C north of the rain area, perhaps 16C on southern coasts.
