Morning Call - December 14, 2022
Sunny spells & cold
Snow showers north

Issued: 0530hrs Wednesday 14th December 2022
Duty forecaster: Simon Keeling

Cold, plenty of sunshine for many but snow showers northern Scotland

Bitterly cold to start today for many areas with a severe frost. It does stay cold through this morning, although it will be sunnier than recently, especially in central and northern areas of England and Wales as well as central and southern Scotland. A few snow showers in northern Scotland. Cloudier skies in the far south with some sleet and snow in the far southwest.

Stying fair and cold this afternoon for most. Lots of sunshine for the Midlands, Wales, East Anglia, northern England and Scotland. Some more snow showers northern Scotland. Cloudier in the far south.

Tonight remains very cold with another widespread frost forming. Cloudier in the far south of England. Snow showers for northern and eastern Scotland, perhaps a few flurries over eastern coasts of England too.
