Another widespread severe frost and cold daytime temperatures

Good morning,

After another widespread hard frost the northerly blast brings another cold day with continued snow fall across northern Scotland and the higher ground here.

A mix of rain, sleet and snow showers through the Irish Sea coasts as well as western parts of Ireland. Some wintry showers onto North Sea coasts though most should stay dry here. Elsewhere mostly dry with good amounts of sunshine.

Overnight, some low cloud, mist and fog could develop. Many staying dry with clear spells though coastal showers will continue with snow over the Cairngorms. Another bitterly cold night with frost developing widely along with icey patches.
