Some sunny spells developing later

Good morning,

An increasing easterly wind for most today. Mist and fog is expected but should lift quicker, though for many it will remain grey and overcast.

Patchy rain in places across Scotland or simply many feeling damp under the murk. Showers pushing on to East Anglia which could push westwards through the day across central and southern English counties. Otherwise another dry day for most.

Overnight, the easterly wind continues to pick up, particularly across the south. Clear spells develop for many though scattered showers continue to push from east to west, though most shoudl stay dry.
