Breezy with sunny spells, a few showers in the west but drier in the east

A breezy morning for most of the country. Some showers affecting western coasts and hills, these heavy in places, Fewer showers in the east and the best sunshine here. Feeling cool in the wind.

This afternoon sees little change with a few showers over western coasts and hills. Dry for most areas with some bright spells, sunshine in the east. Ireland becomes increasingly cloudy, some rain in the west.

Becoming wet again overnight. The rain heavy in Ireland and through parts of Scotland0 Snow on the hills of western Scotland. Breezy and drier for most of England and Wales, although rain in the west later.
