Outbreaks of rain affect northern areas through the morning though these fade into the afternoon and evening. Staying mostly dry across uch of Ireland, England and Wales with the best of the sun to the east initially though most areas seeing a dry and bright evening.

It's a mostly cloudy start to the day across the UK and Ireland with a band of patchy rain affecting Northern Ireland, western Scotland, northern England and into northern parts of Wales. The best of the sun is to the far northeast of Scotland and southwestern parts of the UK and Ireland.

Through the afternoon rain tends to ease while cloud breaks up to give some good spells of sunshine for many. The best of the sun over eastern areas.

It's a dry end to the day with any lingering showers petering out in the west. Cloudier over western areas with the best of the evening sun to the east.
