Warm & sunny south
More cloud to north

Warm, lots of sunshine in the south, some cloud to the north

Good morning,

More quiet weather across the UK and Ireland today. There will be some good spells of sunshine through central and southern areas as well as towards the east. Cloudier across northern parts of Ireland, parts of northern England and Scotland, but dry overall and still with some bright or sunny spells.

An isolated shower could trigger this afternoon in eastern Scotland. Generally though it should be dry and there will be some brightness. Better periods of sunshine through more southern parts of England and Ireland, although perhaps fairly breezy in the far south. Warm again, especially in northwest England, the Midlands and Wales. Dry tonight, good clear spells. A few showers in eastern Scotland. A chance of some spots of drizzle in the far west of Ireland.
