Cloud and drizzle in the north and west, drier and brighter in the south

Good morning,

A moist southwest airmass is affecting the country through today. This is going to be giving plenty of cloud through many areas, most notably over northern England, Scotland, Ireland, western Wales and southwest England. Some spots of drizzle over western coasts too.
 


This afternoon sees more cloud through Ireland, northern England, Scotland and western parts of Wales and southwest England. Drizzle in these areas too, the most persisten of it over southern Scotland, Northern Ireland and northern England. Drier in the far south of England with sunny spells in the southeast. More sunshine and dry weather in the far north of Scotland. Overnight there will be further cloud in the north and west. Drizzle in western and southern Scotland with low cloud over the hills and coasts. Further drizzle in Ireland, especially in the west.
