Light winds, pleasant temperatures

Good morning,

High pressure extends across Britain and Ireland today, resulting in a mainly dry day but there will be a lot of cloud in the sky. Mostly light west to northwesterly winds, strongest near the coast in eastern England.

A risk of local spots of light rain or a brief shower, mainly around north Wales and into Cheshire and northwestern parts of the Midlands. Later chance of a brief light shower for central-southern England.

Low cloud and a little drizzle moves onto the west coast of Scotland, whilst east and northeast Scotland will be brighter with locally good amounts of sunshine.

Southwest England should be brighter with some sunshine breaking through.

Today's top temperatures reaching 16 to 19C.

Have a great day.
Garry
