Morning Call - September 04, 2022
Unsettled
Windy north & west

Issued: 0530hrs Sunday 4th September 2022
Duty forecaster: Alexi Venerus

Heavy rain clearing northwards. Thundery, heavy downpours in the west later.

Good morning,

Low pressure sits to the southwest of the Ireland on Sunday sweeping associated rain bands northwards.

Much of the rain will clear Ireland first thing and Northern Ireland during the morning, seeing drier and brighter weather here. Spells of rain across Scotland, heavy for some, though clearing from the southwest during the afternoon with brighter spells expected in the far west.

Meanwhile, the rain band across England and Wales will fragment while pushing eastwards with SE England not expected to see much if any rain. In places across southwest England later in the day locally heavy and thundery rain develops. Another mild day for many, warm in the east.

Overnight, thundery, heavy rain pushes northwards up the country, though SE England and the far north of Scotland look to stay dry. A muggy feeling night expected.

Have a good one.

Alexi
