Morning Call - September 01, 2022
A few showers about
Warm in the south

Issued: 0530hrs Thursday 1st September 2022
Duty forecaster: Alexi Venerus

Mostly dry with sunny spells.

Good morning,

A chilly start in the north again. Any mist and fog will soon lift to see another largely dry day with sunny spells.

Watch for a few scattered showers moving in off the North Sea on to some easternmost English counties that cannot be ruled out. Cloud is also expected to build across central and southern England through the day though it will be feeling warm here with highs into the mid to high 20s.

Overnight, clear spells for many for a time then cloud will build. Showers expected to push north on to southern parts of England, perhaps a few scattered across northern England later. Patchy rain and drizzle in the far west too. Lows cool in the north in single figures but muggier in the south.

Happy 1st day of Meteorological autumn.

Alexi
