Morning Call - September 18, 2022
Mostly cloudy
Sunniest south

Issued: 0530hrs Sunday 18th September 2022
Duty forecaster: Garry Nicholson

Local patchy rain or showers

Good morning,

Many places will stay dry today, but there will be more cloud around compared to Saturday, especially central & northern England and Wales.

Southern counties will fare best for sunshine where it will feel pleasant out of the breeze. Eastern coasts will feel chilly again in a brisk northwesterly breeze.

There will be a few patchy showers, locally may give frequent rain for an hour or so, focused on northwest England, also north and western Scotland, plus sometimes grazing the east coast of Norfolk. Rainfall amounts mostly small.

Today's top temperatures will reach 18C in the south, 16C elsewhere, but only 13C in the northeast, or 11C northern Scotland.

Have a great day.
Garry
