Cloud and rain in the far south, dry elsewhere with sunny spells

Cloudy skies in the ar south of England with some outbreaks of rain here. Dry for other areas with sunny spells and feeling cool as well. Isolated showers for Orkney and Shetland.

The afternoon sees cloud increasing in Scotland and Northern Ireland. Isolated afternoon showers in northern Scotland once again . The cloud and rain in the far south slowly clears. Sunny spells and mostly dry as well as chilly.

Overnight skies will be clear, allowing for a cold night. Showers in northern Scotland with one or two showers along eastern coasts of England. Drier elsewhere.
