A fair amount of cloud through this morning. Some drizzle in northwest Scotland and perhaps in northwest Ireland too. A few bright or sunny spells in central and eastern Ireland as well as developing in much of England and Wales. Little changes into the afternoon with further spells of sunshine over many areas, although always broken cloud. Patchy rain in northwest Scotland as well as western Ireland. Highs at 14 to 20C.


Tuesday Night
Broken cloud and some clear spells for many tonight. It si going to be dry overall too. Cloud in Scotland and Ireland, with some drizzle affecting western Scotland and western Ireland. Lows at 5 to 8C.

 
 
 


Wednesday
Cloud and rain affecting western Scotland as well as the far west of Ireland on Wednesday as a front edges east. Broken cloud and some bright or sunny spells elsewhere. It should be staying dry into the afternoon with more sunny spells. Cloud and patchy rain in northern and western Scotland as well as western Ireland. Highs at 17 to 22C.
 


Thursday
Heavy rain for Scotland and Northern Ireland, especially over the hills, extending into Cumbria and west Wales, becoming increasingly heavy. Showers follow in western Scotland. The Midlands, south and east of England stay dry with sunny spells and feeling pleasantly warm. High cloud building from the northwest. Brisk southwesterly breezes, strongest in the north and west. Feeling humid in the south. Highs at 15 to 22C, warmest southeast.
