Mildest southwest, local showers
Good morning,
Slack pressure exists across the British Isles today, with light winds and fair weather for many areas. Variable cloud, and some sunshine breaking through - more widely than Saturday - best in the east.
High pressure over the Atlantic builds toward Ireland, strengthening a northwesterly breeze around the Irish Sea. A few showers near Irish Sea coasts and south-west England.
A weak cold front moves across Scotland producing patchy rain or hill snow, which may persist for a few hours over the Highlands. Small amounts of precipitation move into northern England later.
Today's top temperatures will struggle to do better than 3 to 5C for most, but west Wales and south-west England will reach 7 to 9C.
Have a great day. Garry
