Mildest in the southwest
Good morning,
Slack low pressure is centred over western Britain and Ireland today, so the weather is not moving about too quickly.
The remnants of a weak front produces patchy rain for England and Wales. Showery conditions are likely to persist in the south-west, with local heavy bursts and a risk of hail. A chill southeasterly breeze affects eastern Britain.
Much of Scotland will be dry, with some sunshine breaking through. Local showers for Northern Ireland, chiefly near coasts.
Today's top temperatures will range from 2 to 4C in the east and north, to 5 to 7C Wales and southern England plus Northern Ireland, and highest in southwest England where reaching 10C.
Have a great day. Garry
