Mild and unsettled, then turning cooler towards the weekend

Low pressure brings strong winds together with periods of rain and showers. Most of these in the west and south. Milder this week but then turning cooler at the weekend with a risk of some wintry showers northern and east.

Low pressure west of the country on Thursday. Rain affecting southern coasts of England as well as the southeast. Heavy showers in western Wales and western England as well as western Scotland and parts of Ireland. A brighter day in eastern parts of England and eastern Scotland. Highs at 9 to 12C.
 

Friday 24/3/23
Low pressure over the country again. Further rain in Scotland with some heavy showers in western England and western Wales as well as Ireland. Brighter in eastern areas of England. Highs at 9 to 13C.

Saturday 25/3/23
Low pressure south of the Uk on Saturday with some rain in southwest England. Brighter and cooler for the rest of the UK and Ireland. Some wintry showers in southern Scotland and northern England. Tops at 6 to 11C.

Sunday 26/3/23
An area of low pressure passes east through southern England on Sunday taking rain, some heavy and strong winds. Cooler and brighter in the north and west. A few wintry showers northern and eastern Scotland. Tops at 5 to 10C.

Monday 27/3/23
An area of higher pressure builds through Monday. This gives dry and brighter weather to much of England, Wales and eastern Scotland. Windier in the west with increased coud and some rain in western Ireland. Tops at 5 to 9C.

Tuesday 28/3/23
An area of low pressure west of Ireland on Tuesday. Wind and periods of rain, most in the west and north. A mild day at 8 to 12C.
