Low pressure brings an unsettled with with rain and showers, although it should be mild

Low pressure is set to be bringing a mixed week. There will be rain and showers, some of them showers heavy thundery and prolonged. Sunny spells will occur, but are likely to be rather limited. With the winds mostly in the southwest it is likely to be feeling much milder than recently.

Monday 20/3/23
Low pressure brings fronts to the British Isles on Monday. Plenty of cloud and outbreaks of rain, most in Ireland and western Scotland, but wet in Wales too. Probably a little drier in central and southeastern England, although lots of cloud here. A mild day with temperatures at 6C in northern Scotland, 13C in central England.
 

Tuesday 21/3/23
Rain will be clearing east through Tuesday morning. It may be that northern Scotland stays wet. Some brighter weather follows, although always with a far amount of cloud. Some showers over western coasts and hills, these heavy in western Scotland. Further rain and increasing winds in western Ireland later. Tops at 9 to 14C.

Wednesday 22/3/23
Another unsettled day with low pressure over Scotland driving fronts eastwards. These bring cloud and rain with them, some of the rain being heavy in the north and west. Breezy too, and then probably turning brighter in the afternoon. Heavy showers following into Ireland, some heavy and thundery. Highs near 8 to 12C.

Thursday 23/3/23
Low pressure again affects the country. This brings some heavy showers or longer periods of rain. Most rain in Scotland with heavier showers in Irland, Wales and southwest England. Fewer showers in the east. The showers thundery in the west. Temperatures at 8C in northern Scotland, 14C in East Anglia.

Friday 24/3/23
Low pressure is again through the country on Friday. This gives more unsettled weather with areas of prolonged, sometimes heavy showers. A few bright or sunny spells between the showers. Highs at 8 to 12C.

Saturday 25/3/23
Heavy showers or longer spells of rain in the south of the country, windy too. Scattered showers in the north and some sunny spells too. Highs at 8C in Scotland, 11C in southern England.
