Changeable and at times unsettled.
An unsettled weather pattern continues through the forecast period with many days seeing frequnet, heavy showers as well as longer spells of rain. Temperatures much of the time are milder or around average though do drop back to cooler at times.

Saturday 18/3/23 Low pressure sits close by Scotland on Saturday giving further showers, some heavy and perhaps thundery, as well as longer spells of rain. Northern and western Scotland as well as Wales and northern England seeing some rather heavy and persistent rainfall at times. Highs at 9 to 14C.
Sunday 19/3/23 After a chillier start to Sunday and some showery rain in the north much of the country will be dry through much of the day. Cloud thickens and rain starts to push in across Northern Ireland into Wales and southwest England later. Highs at 7 to 11C.
Monday 20/3/23 An area of low pressure moves towards Scotland bringing persistent spells of heavy rain to many regions of Scotland and northwest England overnight into Monday. Rain soon clears from the south seeing sunny spells and showers, these heavy and frequent across western areas of the UK with a strengthened wind. Staying wet with heavy rain across the far north and Northern Isles of Scotland throughout the day. Highs at a mild 12 to 15C for most, a colder 4 to 6C in northern Scotland.
Tuesday 21/3/23 A chillier day on Tuesday with some frost to start in the north. A band of rain moves south down the country with drier and brighter weather to follow though a few scattered, wintry showers cannot be completely ruled out. Highs at 4C in northern Scotland, 12C in southern England.
Wednesday 22/3/23 A dry yet frosty start for many, before more rain moves in from the Atlantic and winds start to strengthen across the south. Staying largely dry in the north. Highs at 4 to 10C.
Thursday 23/3/23 A milder day on Thursday though turning more unsettled with fequent, heavy showers as well as longer spells of rain. Highs at 7 to 12C.
