Morning Call - July 19, 2021
Very warm/hot sun
Sharp showers

Issued: 0530hrs Monday 19th July 2021
Duty forecaster: Alexi Venerus

A largely dry and fine day with very warm/hot sunshine, although with a shower risk further south and west.

A largely dry and fine morning, but the remnants of a front will pass south down the country on Monday bringing cloudier skies for a time, particularly closer to North Sea coasts where it will feel cooler. Possible shower develop may begin late morning across some southern/southeastern English counties. Cloud developing across the far north of Scotland too giving the odd spot of drizzle.

In the afternoon, the shower risk could extend across into the West Midlands, eastern parts of Wales as well as across northern parts of Ireland. A mostly dry and fine day elsewhere with good, warm to very warm spells of sunshine, hot for some further south. Staying somewhat cloudier though across northern Scotland.

Overnight, any lingering showers will gradually fizzle out. Plenty of clear skies about although the far north of Scotland will be cloudier with some patchy drizzle about.
