Morning Call - July 18, 2021
Very warm/hot sun
Largely dry

Issued: 0530hrs Sunday 18th July 2021
Duty forecaster: Alexi Venerus

Very warm/hot for some. Mostly dry, although some cloud and drizzle for north and west Scotland.

A largely dry and fine morning with blue skies and warming sunshine, however, there could be some low cloud and mist to start the day for some but this should quickly burn off. There will also be more cloud cover across Scotland bringing the risk of a few spots of light rain here.

In the afternoon, cloudier skies could push into parts of northern England. Thicker cloud still across parts of southern and western Scotland where some light rain/drizzle is still possible. Elsewhere, expect good spells of very warm/hot sunshine and mostly dry conditions, however, the odd sharp shower in the south of England and Ireland cannot be completely ruled out.

Overnight, expect variable cloud cover across Scotland and northern England with some possible light rain/drizzle in the thicker cloud around Scottish coastal regions. Staying dry for most with the best of the clear skies further south and west.
