Hot, best sunshine in the east, isolated thundery showers this afternoon

Lots of sunshine this morning across many parts of England Wales and Scotland. It is gonna be feeling very warm again. Some low cloud affecting eastern coasts of Scotland and the eastern coast of England, but this should be breaking as the morning progresses. Always more cloud in western Scotland, western Wales and part of Southwest England as well as Ireland but there will be sunny and bright spells here too.

This afternoon stays hot for all areas with the best sunshine in the east. Always more cloud in the west, and the chance of an isolated thundery shower developing other parts of Wales and the hills of northern England this afternoon. Temperature is getting into the high 20s or low 30s for many.

Overnight the skies are cloudier in western areas, with the best of any clear spells in the east, away from coasts and hills. There may be some mist drifting onto southern coasts of Ireland and into Southwest England where there could also be one or two outbreaks of drizzle later.
