Strong sunshine giving very warm and hot temperatures for many. Possible sharp shower in south later.

It looks to be another largely sunny morning, although cloud cover could be more prevalent across some eastern areas. A dry morning for all.

In the afternoon, there is the risk of a few developing sharp showers across parts of southern England and ossibly in Ireland, but elsewhere dry. Lengthy spells of sunshine with temperatures rising to very warm and even hot levels particularly in the south.

Any showers across southern England will soon fizzle out to allow for a dry night with plenty of clear skies. Perhaps more cloud cover across parts of Scotland and northeast England. Highs will fall back but southern areas will feel warm still.
