Morning Call - July 01, 2021
Largely dry
Sunshine gradually developing

Issued: 0530hrs Thursday 1st July 2021
Duty forecaster: Alexi Venerus

Mainly dry, though a shower risk for southwest England and Ireland.

It is looking to be a rather cloudy morning for many, although sunshine should start to develop for some at least by late morning. It should be dry for most although a risk of showers starting to develop late morning across the southwest.

In the afternoon, better spells of sunshine for many, particularly across the north. A greater shower risk for southern English counties, the southwest, parts of Wales and Ireland. Dry elsewhere.

The shower risk in the southwest is expected to fizzle out overnight. There is a risk of a few showers pushing in onto eastern coasts of England through the first part of the night. Elsewhere, it should be mainly dry with clear spells, although some cloud pushing in onto eastern areas once again later on.
