Morning Call - July 25, 2021
SE thunderstorms
Drier elsewhere

Issued: 0530hrs Sunday 25th July 2021
Duty forecaster: Alexi Venerus

SE thundery rain. Drier elsewhere and warm for many.

In the morning, many places will be dry with spells of sunshine. Thundery rain will affect the southeast corner of England, including some coastal southern counties and East Anglia.

In the afternoon, rain continues to affect the southeast, heavy for some and still the risk of thunder in places. A few thundery showers may pop up across south and west Ireland too. Elsewhere, largely dry with good spells of sunshine, although more cloud expected in the east.

Thundery rain in the southeast of England will gradually clear offshore overnight. A largely dry night, although spells of rain are likely to push on to some eastern counties of England. Far western fringes of Ireland could also see some rain pushing in by morning.
