Largely dry and sunny across southern and eastern areas but cloudier with some rain further west

In the morning, expect cloudier skies for most with some patchy rain about across parts of Ireland, Northern Ireland, far western areas of England as wlel as west Wales and west Scotland. Dry elsewhere with sunny spells and lengthy sunshine across central and sotuheast England.

The afternoon will see conditions improve slightly for Ireland and Northern Ireland although expect some showers in places. Western Scotland will continue to see spells of rain, drier further east. A risk of a few showers developing across central in southern England but largely dry and sunny here. Largely dry but rather cloudy for Wales.

Cloud largely remains across Scotland where rain will continue in the west during the evening, largely clearing later. Low cloud/mist and possible drizzle developing overnight across western areas of England, Wales and Ireland. Mainly dry elsewhere with clear spells.
