Fair central and southeast, some cloud and patchy rain north and west

Fair in eastern and southern parts of the Midlands. A fair day too in East Anglia and southeast England. More cloud to start this morning over northern England, Wales and southwest England. There will be a few spots of rain over the hills. Brighter skies in eastern and southern Scotland and Ireland, but thicker cloud over western coasts.

This afternoon sees sunny spells continuing in East Anglia and southeast England. Cloud through the Midlands and southern England as well as northeast England. Spots of rain here too. More cloud in Scotland and Ireland with outbreaks of mainly light rain and drizzle in the north and west.

A dampish night in northern England and Scotland as well as Ireland. Some cloud shrouding the hills and misty on coasts too.
