Low pressure bringing outbreaks of rain to many. Best of the drier weather and sunshine further northwest.
In the morning, plenty of cloud about with outbreaks of rain across southern Scotland, northern as well as souhtern areas of England, Wales and Northern Ireland into eastern regions of Ireland too, heavy for a time across northern England and north Wales and the southeast of England. Drier elsewhere with sunny spells but some showers across northeast Scotland where it will also be breezy.
In the afternoon, rain still about across Wales, northern and central England as well as southeast England also affecting eastern regions of Ireland. Drier with sunny spells across much of Scotland, Northern Ireland and the rest of Ireland.
Plenty of cloud across central areas of the UK and Ireland overnight with outbreaks of rain still affecting here. Some clear spells across parts of southern England. Better chance of lasting drier conditions and clear spells across northern and western Scotland and Northern Ireland.
