Thundery showers
Warm

Issued: 0530hrs Thursday 3rd June 2021
Duty forecaster: Alexi Venerus

Patchy rain for some. Thundery, heavy showers in the east later. Warm in the southeast.

In the morning, a weakened front will push northeastwards and bring cloudier skies for a time as it passes through but also some patchy rain across Northern Ireland, Wales and on into northern and central parts of England. Sunny spells and a few scattered showers for Ireland but largely dry here. Largely dry elsewhere.

The afternoon will see the front continue to push across central and eastern areas of England and Scotland. Expect cloudier skies for a time with some possible patchy rain about but it should be mostly dry. The rain could turn heavy and thundery for a time across parts of eastern England however. Rain continuing across western Ireland. Largely dry elsewhere and feeling very warm in the southeast.

Some showers could linger across some eastern coasts of England overnight. Cloudier skies and patchy rain affecting western Ireland and western parts of Northern Ireland. Largely dry elsewhere wth clear spells. Showers pushing up across the southeast later in the night, possibly heavy and thundery.
