Many areas staying dry but there are outbreaks rain across Scotland and Ireland including southern England.

In the morning expect rather alot of cloud about, some mist patches too, also outbreaks of rain across some eastern counties of England. The rain here should gradually push offshore through the morning. Patchy rain across parts of Scotland into Northern Ireland as well as across some southern English counties. Largely dry elsewhere.

In the afternoon, rain will continue to affect central into southern regions of Scotland as well as across parts of Northern Ireland and Ireland. Cloud still affecting some far southern English counties with thr risk of some light rain along coasts here. Largely dry with sunny spells elsewhere.

Overnight, outbreaks of rain continuing across central and southern regions of Scotland, also affecting parts of west and south Ireland. A band of rain ahead of the main area of rain pushing into southern England later in the night will affect parts of Wales and southwest England during the night. Heavy rainfall reaching southern English counties by morning.
