Western cloud & drizzle
Clearer skies east

Issued: 0530hrs Wednesday 23rd June 2021
Duty forecaster: Simon Keeling

Fair central and east, but low cloud and drizzle in the west

Cloudy and drizzle in western Scotland and Ireland this morning, plenty of low cloud and mist in the Irish Sea too, this affecting the Isle of Man. Much brighter in eastern and central parts of England with sunny spells throughout. Some cloud in East Anglia and the far southeast of England.

This afternoon brings more cloud in Scotland and northwest England as well as west Wales. Drizzle affecting western Scotland. Ireland is going to be cloudy too, some drizzle and rain in the east. Staying bright and dry in central, most of southwest and eastern England, although still cloud in the far southeast.

Tonight sees some clear skies in eastern England. A risk of rain into northwest England and Wales through the night. A few showers in northwest Scotland, otherwise dry.
