Thursday
A largely cloudy start to Thursday, but sunshine is expected to come out for many, particularly across southern and eastern areas as the day progresses. A largely dry day but the risk of some patchy light rain and drizzle across western coasts and hills as well as some showers potnetially developing across England and Wales. More persistent rainfall expected across the far west and northwest of Ireland as well as western Scotland later in the day. Highs at 20 to 26C for most but further west across Ireland and the UK expect slightly cooler highs at 16 to 19C.


Thursday Night
Cloud is expected to thicken across much of the country overnight. Outbreaks of rain still affecting western areas of Scotland into northern regions as well as western Ireland for a time. Northern Ireland as well as western areas of England and Wales could also see some patchy yet light rain and drizzle. Mostly dry elsewhere. Lows at a rather muggy 11 to 16C.
 


Friday
High pressure gradually builds in across the UK and Ireland on Friday, however, a weakened front will push southwards bringing cloudier skies and some patchy rain for a time to parts of Northern Ireland, northern parts of Ireland, Scotland and into northern England through the morning, pushing south into central regions of England during the afternoon with only a small risk of some patchy rain here. Staying dry elsewhere. Highs at 20 to 24C for many central and southeast England, highs between 15 and 19C elsewhere.


Saturday
High pressure strengthens through Saturday. It should be a dry day with sunny spells for most. Some low cloud and drizzle may trouble the far north of Scotland later in the day. A warm day for many with highs between 18 and 28C. Cooler across the northwest of Scotland.
