Colder and rather cloudy, misty with some fog patches too

Fog patches this morning over many parks of England, Wales and Scotland. Much cooler continental air is going to be pouring into the country from the east today making conditions cooler. Some bright spells here and there, especially in the west and south as the fog and mist clear.

Chilly this afternoon with a fair amount of cloud. Misty, some fog patches in places. Staying dry for most, although sunshine will be very limited and it will be feeling cold.

Overnight winds increase in the west with rain into southern Ireland. This reaches southwest Wales and southwest England before coming to a standstill. Dry and cloudy elsewhere and feeling cold.
