Morning Call - November 15, 2022
Rain passing east
Brighter west

Issued: 0530hrs Tuesday 15th November 2022
Duty forecaster: Simon Keeling

Rain passes east, turning drier from the west

A cold front is tracking eastwards through this morning. It's bringing rain across western Scotland, northern Ireland, central and western parts of England and southern England this morning. Drier for northeast Scotland and the far east of East Anglia, rain here through the morning. Windy ahead of the rain. Becoming brighter already over Ireland, western Wales and western England.

Rain will be over eastern Scotland and eastern England this afternoon, slowly clearing into the North Sea. The drier, brighter weather then moving into the Midlands and southern England as well as western Scotland. Some showers for southern and southwestern coasts of England, southern and western Ireland. Feeling cooler too.

Overnight some heavy showers affecting western and southern coasts and hills. Cracks of thunder are possible here too. Drier inland with a few clear spells, the best in the east.
