Hill snow developing for northern England

Good morning,

We've got another unsettled week of autumn weather ahead across Britain as weather systems continue to move in from the Atlantic.

Today sees heavy rain and strong winds sweeping across most of England and Wales during the day, although the east should escape dry until the afternoon.

Rain and hill snow moves into Pennine areas, the Lakes and southwest Scotland. Heavy rain also affects Northern Ireland through much of the day. Northeast England and much of Scotland stay dry all of daylight. Local showers near the east coast. Sunny skies toward the northwest Highlands.

Today's top temperatures between 7 and 10C, feeling cool and unpleasant in rain.

Have a great day.
Garry
