Rain edging east

Issued: 0530hrs Thursday 24th November 2022
Duty forecaster: Simon Keeling

Windy west with gales, wet here too, the rain edging east

Feeling chilly this morning as thew wind picks up. It will be dry in many central and eastern areas, although rain is in the west and some of this is heavy. Gales affecting western coasts and hills too. Increasingly it may become damp along southern coasts and hills with the winds increasing too.

The rain in the west ill be edging slowly east this afternoon, reaching northern central and southern England ny the late afternoon and evening. Blustery showers following through Ireland, heaviest of the showers in the west and south.

Tonight sees the rain clearing east. Drier weather then follows from the west, although some showers over western coasts. A cool night too, especially where the skies clear.
