Gusty winds developing

Good morning,

A largely cloudy day with outbreaks of rain across the country, though rain does look to clear much of England and Wales later in the day with some sunny intervals developing.

An increasingly windy day with gale force to severe gale force winds and gusts for some, though relatively mild.

Continuing very windy initially during the night before winds ease back. A band of rain will push from west to east with only far eastern most coastal counties seeing rain by dawn. Showery rain pushing behind on to western areas.
