Gale/severe gale force winds

Good morning,

A windy day for most. Through the morning it will be mostly cloudy with light rain and drizzle over western areas, particularly coasts and hills, longer spells of rain for NW Scotland, otherwise largely dry.

Staying windy in to the afternoon. Rain and or showers still pestering western regions, drier further east and across much of England.

Most stay dry overnight but some rain does look to push in across more northern and western areas for a time. Very mild with lows for most in double figures.
