Mist and fog stubborn to lift for some.

Good morning,

Mist and fog for many, dense for some, this morning. Bright and or sunny spells will gradually develop. Meanwhile a band of rain will be affecting western regions of the country.

The afternoon sees cloud build further east with the patchy rain moving into central and eastern areas clearing much of the far west.

Outbreaks of rain will progressively move eastwards overnight and by dawn affect many western into central areas, falling heavy for some. The east will be drier though still with places seeing some lingering patchy light rain and drizzle.
