Colder weather arriving in much of Europe, showers in the south

Tuesday
Showers ease back along northern coasts of Spain. Dry and fine elsewhere here along with Portugal. Staying rather cloudy across the Balearics though with fewer showers expected. Unsettled through the central Mediterranean as low pressure continues to bring heavy rain and blustery winds to southern Italy and the islands. An improved day for Greece but still some showers about. Showery rain also affecting parts of Turkey.
A let wet day for France and the Low Countries, though mist and fog patches will be about and likely to struggle to lift through the day making it feel chilly. Cloudy with rain pushing across Germany and Switzerland. Largely dry for Austria, eastern Europe and much of northern Italy.
Windy with some showery rain, sleet and snow through Norway and Sweden where it will be cold. Any rain being confined to western parts of Denmark though staying cloudy and cool here. Wintry showers also expected across the Baltic States. Largely dry but cloudy across Finland.

Wednesday
Rain in western parts of Spain and Portugal on Wednesday. Drier and brighter in the east with some sunny spells. Sunny spells to in the Balearics. Some rain in southern Italy but fair to the north. Greece will have a few showers whilst some heavy showers may affect the west of Turkey.
Breezy and cold in France. Some sunshine in western France but cloudier skies in the east. Broken cloud and cold in the Low Countries. Germany may have a few showers in the west but far in eastern areas. Cold in Poland but mostly dry here. Austria will be cold with a few showers, these showers affecting Switzerland too.
Broken cloud and colder weather for Denmark with the risk of a few snow showers. Broken coud in Sweden with some showers here. Finland and the Baltic States should be cold and dry. Scattered showers for Norway and feeling cold.
