Unsettled with wind and rain, mild for all

An unsettled spell of weather ahead Low pressure will be bringing rain and wind to most, the rain heavy at times. A threat of severe gales seeping east during Friday and early Saturday morning. Showers at the weekend but a slight improvement early next week before potentially becoming drier mid-week.

Saturday 10/11/18
Low pressure west of Scotland on Friday. A front clears eastern parts of the UK in the morning taking rain with it. Following is a showery west to southwest flow. There will be sunny spells but also showers, these more likely over western and southern coasts and hills. The showers become heavier in the afternoon mainly affecting Wales, England an southern Scotland. Highs at 9 to 13C.

Sunday 11/11/18
Low pressure remains to the west of Scotland. A southerly flow brings showers into England and Wales with the risk of more persistent rain to the south. Probably more showery conditions in Ireland and Scotland. Tops at 9 to 13C.


 
 
 

Monday 12/11/18
The threat of some rain in the far south and southeast of England on Monday as a small area of low pressure passes east. Low pressure west of Scotland bringing a day of sunshine and showers to most other areas. Most showers in the west. Highs at 9 to 13C.

 
 
 

Tuesday 13/11/18
A ridge of high pressure builds on Tuesday giving a drier day with sunny spells. A southwest flow blows fronts into western Ireland and western Scotland with rain here later. Highs at 11 to 15C and feeling mild.

Wednesday 14/11/18
High pressure remains to the south of the UK on Wednesday. Rain is going to be passing through Ireland and Scotland, some of this will be heavy in the west. Highs around 16C in southern England, 12C in northern Scotland.

Thursday 15/11/18
Higher pressure builds on Thursday. A dry day with sunny spells and mild for all. There could be some drizzle affecting coasts of southern Ireland and southwest England. Highs at 12 to 17C.
